​Scott Jones, Vice President

Scott joined W.A. Waterman in 2011 after 20 years of accounting and management experience at UPS.  He provides experience in financial analysis, internal audit, cost accounting, corporate accounting, ad valorem taxes, and asset management.  His experience in the oil and gas industry consists of:  Joint Interest Reviews, Lease Operating Analysis, Acquisition Due Diligence, Vendor Reviews, Litigation Support, Field Inventory Management, Arbitration and Mediation Support, Sales Tax, Ad Valorem Tax, Overhead and Asset reconciliations, Joint Operating Agreements, and Accounting Procedure analysis.

Scott is a member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) and an Accredited Petroleum Accountant (APA®). He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Nazarene University.
