​Royce Porter, Vice President

During his career, Royce has worked in various industries including oil and gas, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction.  He has held management positions in various fields including internal audit, cost accounting, corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, operations, and human resources. 

Within the oil and gas industry, Royce has extensive experience conducting reviews of:

• Leasehold acquisition expenses
• Drilling and completion expenses
• Lease operating expenses
• Midstream residue gas and NGL revenue payments
• Crude oil revenue payments 
• Netback and stated deductions associated with revenue payments
• Royalty payments to ensure payments are made in compliance with the provisions of the lease
• Acquisition due diligence
• Paying quantities analysis
• Late payments interest
  

Royce has also testified in Federal court and before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as an expert witness with respect to Joint Operating Agreements and Accounting Procedures. 

Royce is a member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS) and an Accredited Petroleum Accountant (APA®).  He has served as the COPAS OKC President and was also the Co-Chair of the Small Oil & Gas Committee.  He is also an associate member of the American Association of Professional Landmen.

Royce earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma State University and his MBA from Golden Gate University.
