Charlie Zahl, Vice President

Charlie joined W.A. Waterman in 2015.  He has over 15 years of Oil and Gas industry knowledge and experience in accounting and operations, including as a Drilling Fluids Engineer with Halliburton.  His experience in Oil and Gas consulting includes: Joint Interest Reviews, Lease Operating Analysis, Acquisition Due Diligence, Vendor Reviews, Litigation Support, Field Inventory Management, Revenue Reviews, Gas Plant Reviews, Midstream Reviews, and Lease Compliance Reviews.  Additionally, Charlie has provided services as an expert witness in matters related to Lease Compliance and Late Payment Interest.

Charlie has been a member of the Oklahoma City Society of COPAS since 2015.  Charlie is currently on the COPAS-OKC Board of Directors.  He was Co-Chair of the COPAS-OKC Small Oil and Gas Companies Committee from 2016-2017 and a member of Board of Directors for COPAS-OKC from 2017-2018, serving as the Education Director.  For the National COPAS Society, Charlie was the Co-Chair of the Emerging Issues Subcommittee from 2016-2018. 

Charlie has a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
